Directing duo Christopher Radcliff and Lauren Wolkstein are NYC based filmmakers best known for their short film The Strange Ones, a narrative short that has grown substantial festival legs and has been an Official Selection at Sundance, SXSW, Clermont Ferrand International Short Film Festival, winner of the Focus Features Award for Best Film at Columbia University, Winner of the Golden Starfish at Hamptons International Film Festival, Winner of Special Jury Prize at IFFBoston and Winner of Best Narrative short at ATLFF. The Strange Ones, a mysteriously evocative film, follows a man and a boy who find respite at a motel swimming pool when the introduction of a friendly girl results in a startling discovery.

CHRISTOPHER RADCLIFF recently graduated with honors from Columbia University School of the Arts’ Graduate Film school, where his thesis film Stranger was a Faculty Honors selection and an Audience Choice Award winner, and where he also received the prestigious 2011 Ezra Litwak Distinction in Screenwriting Award.

LAUREN WOLKSTEIN also graduated from Columbia’s graduate film program and was named one of the top twenty-five emerging filmmakers through The Film Society of Lincoln Center and the Independent Filmmaker Project’s inaugural Emerging Visions program at the 2011 New York Film Festival. Besides her narrative film work, Lauren has also directed commercials for Gucci, and edited several ads for brands such as Juicy Couture, Dickies, and Diet Coke. She and Christopher Radcliff are currently in development on a new scripted series for the web.
